Setbacks revolving around the reception of the third film's script may have damped many-a-blogger's attitude on the third film, but Sony still seems behind the franchise enough to rehash the logo and cityscape graphics they worked up last year and place them with other, less enticing films (IMO).
Amazingly, no party has yet to put their foot down and end this film's prospects. So the endless speculation lives on in this epic poem.
Side note, if I wrote a book on the long journey we've taken to Ghostbusters 3, would you read it? Would include inside stories from execs, producers and writers. Let me know, I've started to outline it and I think there's an interesting story to tell here. We are dealing with the most talked about, elusive sequel in the history of cinema after all, and this blog is number one in google search behind imdb and wikipedia. That must mean SOMETHING. I think it means I need to write a book.
