Deadline: GB3 in Front of Cameras Next Summer?
Deadline, a fairly "authoritive source" when it comes to studio inner-workings, has posted an update on the filming schedule for Ivan Reitman's "Draft Day" dropping some studio expectations for "Ghostbusters 3" in the process. The article describes how the football film may have to wait until Ivan directs GB3 this upcoming summer.
Deadline's Mike Fleming writes, "Paramount chose not to make it in the small window that Reitman has before he is expected to finally get the long-gestating Ghostbusters reboot in front of the cameras next summer for Sony Pictures (sans Bill Murray)."
An interesting look at what the insiders foresee. Murray is still not expected to join in and Reitman is still at the helm with us 9 months away from rolling cameras. Sounds realistic, no?
