Talking to Larry King, known among many things for his Ghostbusters cameo, Dan Aykroyd rephrased some familiar information about "Ghostbusters 3" today.
On Murray: “He’s a good friend... I love him, but he just doesn't want to reprise the role. However there will be a hole for him. If Billy wants to walk in the door and be in the movie, we'll find a place.”
On Plot: It’s based upon new research that’s being done in particle physics by the young men and women at Columbia University. Basically there’s research being done that…I can say that the world or our dimension that we live in, our four planes of existence, length, height, width and time, become threatened by some of the research that is being done. And Ghostbusters, new Ghostbusters, have to come and some the problem.”
On a new Larry King cameo: "Of course, we're going to be doing you in your new format as you comment on what's happening in Manhattan up there at Morningside Heights. It's going to be quite a spectacular scene once the stuff starts to break."
When asked if the cast was already in place for new Ghostbusters, Aykroyd made it sound like casting had not taken place yet.

I actually dreamed about this movie last night, and it literally was worrying me that Bill Murray won't be in it. lol. I won't be seeing it without Murray.
ReplyDeleteSo many whiny losers..."wahhhh Murray won't be in it, wahhh"
ReplyDeleteReally?
You refuse to see a potentially good movie cause ONE actor does not wish to reprise his role?
Makes no sense to me.. at all.
I'm a ghostbusters fan first, and a Murray fan second.
Starting in a Uni sounds familiar, I also heard something about there a female ghostbuster... Please be based on the Extreme Ghostbusters! Bring in the already known new generation; Kylie, Garret, Roland and Edwardo!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I would go see this movie 100 times over if this is what you're doing!
