#JMS4GB3?

Everyone's favorite Real Ghostbusters writer, J. Michael Straczynski, mentioned that he had an idea for Ghostbusters 3. Screen Rant took that as a call to action, announcing a campaign on twitter to try and get Sony to consider the writer for a rescripting.

After hashtag #JMS4GB3 was tweeted around, Straczynski said this on his Facebook page:

 "This has been blown way out of proportion. The reporter asked if I might have an idea for a GB3, and having given the characters and that world a lot of thought having working on it years ago, I said yes, because it's true, but I'm not out there lobbying for the job and in particular I don't want fans out there bugging people because all that does is piss them off. Nobody likes to feel like their hand is being forced. I'm confident that the guys putting this together are going to do a bang-up job. That it hasn't been done so far shows that they really want to get this right, not get it out now, and that shows their commitment to it. That's good enough for me."
