Murray: 2011ish GB3 Draft "Didn't touch our stuff"

Almost two months into Dan Aykroyd's four-month ultimatum for a Ghostbusters 3 green light, Davide Passaia has sent us a Murray interview via "The Sunday Times" that digs a little big deeper into Bill Murray's read of the third script and re-re-re-confirms his declination of involvement.

Referring to doing a third film, Murray admitted that "it is kind of tempting. Kind of sad, but kind of tempting," going on to describe the third script (which landed on his doorstep a couple of years ago) has having a "lot of oomph behind it" but telling Matt Mueller at the Times that he stopped reading after 20 pages, citing that the new script "didn't touch our stuff."

On attempts to continue on without him, Murray simply says "it's not the way I would have gone."

Our analysis: On some level, it seems Murray would like to be involved, but wouldn't accept anything less than an A-grade movie.  He's disappointed the other guys are willing to dip into the project without his stamp of approval. Also of interest: Murray has not read Etan Cohen's new draft.

Here's the summary of the pay-walled Sunday Times article, from Yahoo News UK.
