Aykroyd Gives an Ultimatum Extension to Sony

In an interview with ABC News, Dan Aykroyd addressed his pending ultimatum with Sony on a green-light for "Ghostbusters 3", saying that he has been "re-encouraged, reinvigorated" by the pages he has seen. He seemed to back down on his December statement regarding his shipping off to Australia, dropping that he won't be in the country until next fall.

Aykroyd went on to share his skepticism that Murray had truly given previous Ghostbusters 3 drafts a read and placed a heavy focus on the exploration of Columbia students studying particle physics in the next film, claiming that the study of molecules such as the Boson (also known as the God Particle) could lead to something really "horrible" coming through.

Also of note, when asked to name some favorite, recent SNL bits and players, he called out Hader, Wiig, Sudeikis and Armisen. Wouldn't they make a nice new team of Ghostbusters, if not a hair older than the average grad student?
