Bill Murray made a surprise appearance on Reddit tonight, answering a ton of questions. The highest voted questions he declined to comment on all had to do with... of course... Ghostbusters 3.
It's been a long while since Bill has said much on the record about the film. One thing we've noticed though is that he has not outright denied involvement for at least five years. A silent "never-say-never" if you will.
Aykroyd is another story, at times he says Murray will not do the movie, at other times he says "you never know." Funny enough, Aykroyd had just such an interview today, his first in many months touching upon the film. Unofficially the rumors put the film in casting mode as of December, but Aykroyd makes it sound like they're still finalizing the script. Other notes of interest: Murray mentioned that he was indeed shooting a project in Hawaii (not GB related) with rumored GB3 favorite Emma Stone. This would be their second collaboration since Zombieland. The other rumored cast member, Jonah Hill, has also seen some news... a second Oscar nomination as of yesterday, upping his clout further than ever.
