Aykroyd Has Reitman's Back in Ghostbusters 3 Producing
The incorrigibly optimistic Dan Aykroyd, the heart of the Ghostbusters, leaves us with a positive note following Ivan Reitman's decision to produce, rather than direct a Ghostbusters 3.
Packs on! Will have Ivan’s back as I help him produce a GB 3 that Harold would be proud of.

There's no stopping Dan. This thing will be made whether we want it or not. He's spent far too much time on it and Columbia's dying for a franchise cash cow. Shame really, it's hardly great filmmaking which was what the original was. How depressing will it be if we're told Egon has passed away at some point between movie II and III? Ghostbusters should be a positive universe not a "Rocky Balboa" bleak-laden journey. I don't want a commentary on all the guy's "mortality".
