When given the chance to give a general Ghostbusters 3 project update, as Toronto Life did today, threequrelboot producer Ivan Reitman dropped some nice little hints that preproduction is still humming along.
Reitman: The studio is in, and we have writers working on it as we speak. We’re hoping to film at the beginning of next year. Dan Aykroyd and I meet about once a month to talk about it.
What we learned: There's no stall in the creation process right now as directors are being considered. Also, one wonders if writer(s) indicate new people have been brought on to tweak Etan Cohen's script. Dear TIFF interviewers, ask that question!
